How long do lash extensions take?
Please allow about 2 hours for your full set and 1 hour for fills.
Before your appointments, your lash artist will go over any questions you have and discuss with you which style will best enhance your features. During your appointments, you will be lying on your back with your eyes closed until the application is complete. After your lashes are finished you will be given instructions on how to care for your new extensions.
How long do lash extensions last?
Lash extensions will last as long as you maintain them and follow your aftercare instructions.
The average person sheds about 2-5 natural lashes every day. Your extensions will shed right along with your natural ones. Not to worry--new lashes are growing at approximately the same rate.
To keep your lashes looking full and beautiful, maintenance appointments are scheduled every 3 weeks to add extensions to new natural lashes.
What is the upkeep for lash extensions?
To maintain your extensions, we recommend scheduling your lash fills every 3 weeks. This aligns best with your natural lash growth cycle. When following our aftercare instructions, at 3 weeks you should still have about 50-60% of your extensions.
Should I get classic, light volume or mega volume lash extensions?
If you're looking for the most natural look, go with Classic. Classic lashing is a technique that applies one extension to one natural lash to give you length and curl.
For those who crave a fuller look but don't necessarily want a super dark and dramatic lash line, Light Volume is the way to go. This style adds some fullness but remains piecey.
Mega Volume creates a dark, fluffy lash line. If you want the fullest look possible, Mega Volume lashes are for you. (*this look is available based on your natural lash's integrity)
All 3 styles will be further customized by your lash artist using different lengths and curls to enhance your best features.
Will extensions ruin my natural lashes?
Properly applied lash extensions will NOT damage your natural lashes but poorly applied extensions unfortunately CAN.
This is why it’s SO important to find a lash artist who cares about your natural lash health as much as you do! At Enhance, lash health is our most important focus.
In order to provide our clients with the highest level of expertise, all Enhance Team Members are Certified Lash Artists that have each completed a proprietary, 6-week training program and attend ongoing training each month.
I already have lash extensions on. Can I start coming to Enhance for my fills?
Absolutely! We are happy to welcome new clients with existing extensions.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is essentially a perm for your lashes. The service takes about an hour and includes a complimentary tint so you will leave with your lashes curled and dark.
How long will the curl last?
The curl from your first lash lift will last about 6 weeks but clients who have this service done regularly notice results lasting as long as 8 weeks.
Will it look like I’m wearing extensions?
A lash lift works with your natural lashes so while you will enjoy dark, curled lashes a lash lift can not provide the length and fullness the way extensions can.
Will I still need to wear mascara?
A lash lift and tint is all you need for those days when you are going for a more natural look however, most clients do apply mascara to amplify their lashes when they are going out.
Am I a good candidate for a lash lift?
If you’re looking to enhance your lashes but are hesitant to commit to the maintenance of lash extensions, a lash lift would be a goof fit. A lash lift looks best on clients with long, full natural lashes.
What is a brow lamination?
A brow lamination sculpts and holds your brows into a desired shape for up to 6 weeks.
Will it look like my brows are microbladed?
No. A brow lamination simply tames and shapes your own brow hair. While it can optimize sparse brow hair and sculpt it to improve the shape, it can not fill in large gaps the way microblading and permanent makeup can.
Am I a good candidate for a brow lamination?
Clients with full or unruly brows will love this treatment to tame their brows into a more desirable shape. Clients with sparse brows will notice this treatment amplifying and optimizing their brows for a fuller look.
